Adoption Therapy

Rebuilding trust, belonging, and emotional safety in adoptive families
Adoption brings love and complexity. Many adopted children and young people have experienced early trauma or disrupted attachments that affect how they relate to others.
My adoption therapy integrates DDP, Therapeutic Parenting, and Life Story Work to help families reconnect with empathy and understanding.

Individual & Family Sessions

• DDP-informed parent-child therapy
• Therapeutic Parenting support using PACE
• Life Story Work to integrate past and present
• Parent consultations for reflection and resilience
• Individual therapy for adopted teens and young adults exploring identity and belonging

Group Therapy for Adoptive Parents

Small, supportive groups to share experiences, learn trauma-informed strategies, and reconnect with self-compassion.

Creative, play-based or discussion groups exploring belonging, emotion, and identity — helping them feel less alone in their experience.
